A5 Brag Book - My Creative Spirit

Hi everyone, this week I'm sharing a crafty hack with you on how to turn our A5 Notebook Holder Set into a fun and quick to make Brag Book.

I've designed a number of insert options made from card / cardstock that can be decorated to coordinate with the cover or left undecorated for more of a scrapbook look. Another great gift idea for a stocking filler or birthday.

Here's a little info on the featured samples and pics of their covers, the video walkthrough of all three samples, links to all the supplies I used and then at the bottom of the post the 'How to Make' video link. This includes dimensions to cut your own covers from chipboard, a full supply list, tool list, cutting guide for the pages and decorative papers and video clips to follow for assembly.

Kaleidoscope A5 Brag Book

For my Kaleidoscope sample I used the 12 x 12 Signature sheet from the collection to decorate the front and back covers, an off-cut of black and white paper for the spines to match the border on the back cover and left the internal pages undecorated.  From start to finish this fun little book took me just over half an hour to make which, if giving as a gift is perfect.

Twilight Halloween A5 Brag Book

Twilight A5 Brag Book - Authentique

For this one I used the 8 x 8 Twilight pad by Authentique.  The covers of the Brag Book are larger than an 8 x 8 pad but paper can be cut and layered, as I've done here with a black strip to stretch them to fit.  An 8 x 8 pad is perfect to decorate the pages in the book.

Make a Wish A5 Brag Book

I used papers from the 12 x 12 Make a Wish Maxi pad to decorate this sample, I love the angels so chose them for my covers and then selected some of the less detailed background papers to decorate the pages.

Do click below to watch the video and the walkthrough of the three samples.

If you love the concept and fancy making yourself a Brag Book or two grab a coffee and click on the video below.  There's a slide show of the insides of all three samples at the end so you can see how they look when decorated in the different paper collections.

Thank you for joining me, I hope you've enjoyed todays post. Have a great weekend and loads of fun making Brag Books too. I look forward to sharing more crafty inspiration with you next time :-) C.
